200 Hours Teacher Training In Varkala

200 teacher training Varkala location

In our 200-hour yoga instructor course, we integrate the knowledge of two age-old, traditional yoga styles in Varkala, India. We take inspiration from the dynamic, yet meditative nature of Ashtanga yoga and the alignment-focused emphasis of Hatha yoga, to create a distinctive and beautiful yoga instructor training. Yoga philosophy, meditation, and pranayama are all fully integrated into our 200-hour teacher training course in Kerala, which also helps you enhance your own asana practice. Above all, our Yoga workshops on Anatomy and Art of Teaching give you the necessary tools to advance your career as a yoga instructor.

The practice of yoga is profoundly transformational in and of itself. Even more fulfilling, though, can be found in training to become a yoga teacher with the mission of helping others follow their path. At Yoga Sangha, we want to give dedicated practitioners the chance to learn more about the path of promoting yoga as a way of life and assisting others in becoming more self-aware via their yoga practice.

Curriculum

Asana and Pranayama practice begin the day. We help you develop a disciplined practice in this two-hour class by emphasizing appropriate alignment, breathing awareness, and channeling your life force, the Prana. Yoga props can be used to support and correct postures, and this workshop will give you the practical skills to help your future students maximize the therapeutic benefits of yogasana practice. During the course of the training, the morning Hatha class covers the Ashtanga Primary Series Asanas in detail and discusses them. The afternoon class is devoted to deepening the practice of Ashtanga Mysore Style, where students practice the sequence at their own pace with individual adjustments and support from the teacher.

Mahi Yoga Philoshphy

Yoga Philosophy

Among the six traditional schools of Indian philosophy is yoga. The goal of this class is to help you understand the purpose of yoga and how to achieve it. In addition to discussing the Eight Limbs of Yoga’s relevance to modern day living, we also examine them from the viewpoint of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras.

The Teaching Art

Being a proficient yoga practitioner and a good yoga instructor are two separate things. The goal of this course is to assist you in becoming an expert teacher. During this course, you will learn and hone skills like clear presentation, effective instruction, attentive observation, and successful modification. To assist you in creating a well-rounded class in any of the various postural yoga systems, we spend a great deal of time on the sequencing process. You will receive both teacher and peer feedback after gaining practical teaching experience throughout the course. This course will also assist you in creating a vision for yourself as a yoga instructor and provide you with ideas for how to move forward with your yoga teaching career.

Meditation

To reach the ultimate aim of yoga, one must attain the state of deep meditation, as explained in the Eight Limbs of Yoga. We emphasize meditation as a crucial component of our yoga teacher training, just as much as asana practice. You will learn about a variety of contemplative practices and meditation approaches during the course, including both traditional and contemporary ones.

Ayurveda Mahi Yoga

Ayurveda

We include Ayurvedic ideas into the course’s daily operations during our 200-hour yoga teacher training in Varkala. Each student will have the chance to have a thorough, one-on-one consultation with an Ayurvedic physician to learn about their health and discover their constitution (dosha). The student’s well-being will be enhanced by the doctor’s food and lifestyle recommendations.

According to Ayurveda, you are what you consume. As a result, we made it our mission to assist our students in assimilating an Ayurvedic diet, which is characterized by the quality of sattva (pure, honest, and clean), into their daily lives. Yoga practice is greatly enhanced by sattvic diet, which makes the body feel lighter.
