The knowledge of the asanas and the alignment of the body together with ancient yogic breathing techniques and meditation will help you to be cantered in the present with body and mind and therefore will have a regenerative effect on your life.

Mahi Yoga School 200-hour yoga teacher training balances the depth of an authentic spiritual tradition with the breadth of complete yogic education.

Our online immersion will be held over Zoom and you will have Sunday off throughout the course.

How the training works

  • The training will be held online via Zoom. The online sessions’ time zone is Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) (GMT+3).
  • You will receive 45 days with instruction of Yoga (morning and evening).
  • Contact hours (Live session hours or coaching hours) – 170 hours contact hours
  • Non-contact hours – 30 hrs (self-study hours)

 

Sessions

  • 26 days – 2-hours every day for Technique and Training Practice
  • 26 days – 1-hour every day for Philosophy and Yoga Ethics
  • 26 days – 1-hour everyday practice on Pranayama and Dhyana
  • 07 days – 1-hour anatomy

Non-contact hour – Students can use this hour for self-practice and study or we will also make a workshop with videos on anatomy or vinyasa asanas after completing 29 days of the program there will be 10 more days of a non-contact hour where one can ask any questions and doubts.

Mantra chanting – Patananjali mantra and Shanti mantra’s, 5 minutes. Pranayama- Surya Bedi, Bastrilka, Kapala bati, Brahmari, Yogic breathing technique – 3 levels.

  • Surya Namaskara a and b in Hatha Tradition
  • Surya namaskar a and b in ashtanga tradition(Primary series of Ashtanga)
  • Vinyasa with different asanas
  • Practical exam on teaching a class (videos on the sequence of asanas constructed by themselves) 

 

Assessments and Practical exam on philosophy and discussions on the philosophy of yoga sutra

  • Vinyasa sequence on standing Pose

  • Sequence on Marichyasana 

End of 200 hours and a day on certification Program to give the 200 hours Yoga alliance Certificate on completing the 200 hours in Hatha yoga.

 

Certifications

Students who complete their training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

Class runs from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (EEST) (GMT+3). and 16.00 pm to 18.00 pm (EEST) (GMT+3). 

All classes are recorded. If you cannot attend or if it is too late in your timezone, classes can be made up.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 200 EURO 
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 2 days before the course start date.
  • The deposit is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled.

 

Retreat location

This teacher training is held online. Mahi Yoga School is based in Dharamsala, India, and they will live-stream all yoga classes via Zoom which you can participate by just using your phone or computer. Make sure you have a stable internet connection and your favourite yoga mats and props!
